CAPE TOWN (16 August 2016) – The International News Media Association (INMA) will hold its first-ever Global Media Summit Africa November 14-15 in Cape Town with a diverse programme featuring top media executives from around the world.
Held at the Vineyard Hotel, the INMA Global Media Summit Africa will bring together on one stage 15+ executives from the world’s leading news media companies to focus on accelerating digital while preserving the best in print.
Association executives say the sessions will focus on revenue diversification, developing digital capabilities, culture change and innovation, reinventing advertising, paid content, the new multi-media brand, and more.
This is a rare opportunity to connect the huge changes happening in African media markets to similar experiences in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, India, United States, Norway, Canada, Colombia, South Korea, Sweden, and Poland. This intimate, hands-on conference takes a look at how the industry can best implement a digital mindset, while sustaining print.
In addition to the high-energy programme, international speakers will be available to Summit participants – one-on-one – to go deeper into experiences and help relate those experiences to the challenges facing local companies.
The INMA summit Web site is now live and accepting registrations at www.inma.org/capetown. Discounted registrations for groups are available.
